What is in it

  • Six-page PDF guide. From ES-003 to money in the bank: who is refunded, the ACE reports that matter, the CAPE phases and what is not yet covered, and the rules that catch people out (an accepted declaration cannot be amended).
  • Entry tracker (.xlsx). One row per entry. It calculates the 80-day CAPE Phase 1 date, the 180-day protest date and the days left on each, says where each entry stands, and tracks it through ES-022 to the refund. Summary totals by status.
  • Ten questions for your broker. The conversation to have with the broker who filed your entries, in the workbook with space for the answers.
  • Letter to a DDP supplier. If you bought delivered-duty-paid, CBP refunds your supplier or forwarder, not you. A letter to start the commercial conversation.

Facts checked 16 October 2026 against CBP’s IEEPA Duty Refunds page (last modified 30 September 2026). Prefer to read first? The free guide covers the same ground.

Look inside

The first two of the guide’s six pages, exactly as you receive them.

Kit guide, page 1: title page with the version, the date the facts were checked, and the educational-use noticeKit guide, page 2: the answer in five lines, the timeline of how IEEPA duties ended, and step 1, are you the importer of record

Before you buy

Is this information free elsewhere?

The facts are. CBP publishes them, and our free guide summarises them. The kit puts them in a form you can work from: a tracker that keeps every entry’s window up to date, and the questions and letter ready to send.

Does it prepare my CAPE Declaration?

No, deliberately. Preparing a document for filing with CBP is customs business under 19 CFR 111.1. Only the importer of record or its licensed broker files a CAPE Declaration. The kit helps you get organised for that conversation; it does not decide the route or produce the file.

I bought DDP. Is it any use to me?

Partly. You can’t claim from CBP, so the tracker matters less. The guide explains why, and the supplier letter is the useful part.

How do I get it?

Straight after payment you land on a download page, and the link is emailed to you too. If the link expires, the receipt page gives you a fresh one.

Can I get a refund?

No refunds once access is given: the kit is delivered immediately, and at checkout you agree to that and acknowledge you lose the 14-day cancellation right. The exception is the law’s: if the kit is faulty or not as described, email us and we will put it right, or refund you if we can’t.

For United States shipments: Supercargo is not a licensed customs broker and does not conduct customs business as defined in 19 CFR 111.1. Figures shown for prospective shipments are management estimates on a commodity code you supply. Classification, valuation and entry remain the responsibility of you as importer of record and of your licensed broker, and reliance on Supercargo does not establish reasonable care for the purposes of 19 U.S.C. 1484.
