Pricing

Priced by the question you need answered

Published, annual-first, no negotiated list price and no call to cancel. Prices show in your own currency; switch it below if we guessed wrong.

The audit is open now. It runs on your own CBP entry summaries and needs nothing from Amazon, so there is no queue and no integration to wait for — send the documents and you get your figure back. Subscriptions open to audit customers first, as each Amazon connection is approved. The price is published here so you can plan against it, and so it cannot quietly change between now and then.

Every tier can pay for itself. Refunds that never came back, units lost in Amazon’s warehouses and returns its carrier broke are listed with their claim windows. In the demo they come to £6,233 a year — 13.9 months of Planner. See the recoveries ledger

Reconciliation Service

from £900$1,200€1,050 / quarter

For importers who would rather the reconciliation were done than run. Priced as what it is — work, not a feature list.

Extra seats £19$25€23 a month each. No tier meters customs entries or SKUs.

Seats, billing and currency

Monthly costs about two months more a year. Three prices, not conversions.

Seats are an allowance, not the meter: you should be able to let your accountant, your VA and your forwarder in without the price changing, and sharing one login to avoid a seat charge is how customs data leaks.

Twelve months of monthly billing costs almost exactly two months more than the annual invoice, at every tier. That is the whole of the annual discount and it is the same proportion for everyone. Sterling, dollar and euro are three separate prices, not conversions — the rate you are charged does not move when the exchange rate does. We sell in the UK, the US and the EU, and not currently into Canada.

Getting started

What starting takes

  1. 2 minutes

    Tell us about your imports

Four questions: your importer of record number, whether you have an ACE account, whether your broker holds it, and whether you can supply invoices and packing lists.

  2. About 10 minutes, once

    Schedule one report in ACE

In your own CBP account, schedule the Entry Summary Line Tariff Details report as a recurring CSV to the address we give you. No shared password, no power of attorney. Or forward your 7501s and invoices instead.

  3. Nothing to do

    Read your numbers

Landed cost per SKU from the duty actually assessed, against the cost Amazon holds. Refunded in full if the variance is under 2%. Subscribe and connect Amazon, read-only, for order-by dates, stockout cost and cash.

If your broker holds your importer number in their own ACE account, step 2 takes longer — the fix is routine and we walk you through it. What to check first

The Duty & Landed Cost Audit — £900$1,200€1,050

A fixed-price diagnostic on your own last twelve months. You send your customs entries and the commercial invoices behind them; we return a written report showing your true per-unit landed cost by SKU, the variance against the cost Amazon holds, and every line where the duty assessed differs from the published tariff.

It is credited in full against your first year if you subscribe within 60 days.

If there is no gap, you pay nothing

Under 2% variance, the report says so and the fee is refunded in full.

If the reconciled variance comes to under 2% of your COGS, the report still says so in writing and the fee is refunded in full. That is deliberate. The whole claim behind this product is that the gap is real and material; if it is not real for you, we should not be paid for saying so. We would rather tell you that and refund it than sell you £2,748$3,588€3,228 of software you do not need. We will not manufacture a finding to justify a subscription.

Does it pay for itself?

We will not quote you an average saving

We do not have one that is honest, and an invented one would be the first untrue number on a site whose entire proposition is that your numbers should be checkable. So here is the arithmetic instead. Put your own figures in it.

Two numbers you can look up today, free

Your duty assessed over twelve months, and how many entries produced it.

Your total duty and remedies assessed over the last twelve months, and how many customs entries produced it. In the UK both come from HMRC’s customs data report service — four years of history, no fee. In the US, from a free ACE Portal account.

Leg one — the duty itself

On £40,000$50,000€45,000 of duty, a 3–8% band is £1,200$1,500€1,350 to £3,200$4,000€3,600 in the wrong place.

Classification and valuation errors run in both directions and are common at this size. On £40,000$50,000€45,000 of assessed duty across 12 entries, a 3–8% band is £1,200$1,500€1,350 to £3,200$4,000€3,600 sitting in the wrong place — recoverable if you overpaid and within the time limit, owed if you underpaid.

We are not claiming your error is 3–8%. Your figure could be zero. The claim is narrower, and it is the only one we will make: at £40,000$50,000€45,000 of annual duty, a band that wide is worth £900$1,200€1,050 to measure.

Leg two — the cost your pricing runs on

Usually larger, and nobody prices it: every decision made on a wrong number.

This leg is usually larger, and nobody prices it, because it is not a refund. It is every decision you made on a wrong number.

Cost of goods Amazon holds, per unit£6.1$8.15€7.3
Freight, insurance, duty and remedy, per unit£1.84$2.46€2.2
True landed cost, per unit£7.94$10.61€9.5
Understatement30.2%

The error scales with units landed, not with SKU count. A forty-SKU catalogue landing 20,000 units a year on that understatement is running roughly £36,800$49,200€44,000 of overstated profit — and it was that overstated profit that set the prices, sized the reorders and decided which lines were kept.

Much of that error is a heading you never see

Stainless steel kitchenware from China reads 2% and is assessed 27%.

US customs value excludes freight, so the basis argument that applies in the UK does not apply here. The US error is different and larger: the rate in the tariff schedule is not the rate you pay. Chapter 99 headings attach on top of it, and the official machine-readable export carries a column named Additional Duties that is empty on every line. Stainless steel kitchenware from China, 7323.93.00:

Column 1 General rate, as published2%
Section 232 derivative steel, on the full customs value25%
Assessed27%

Thirteen and a half times the published rate, on a line that is not on any active Section 301 list and carries no anti-dumping order. And the same file errs the other way too: headings abolished in February 2026 still print live rates with no termination note, so a calculator built from it adds duty nobody owes. We are not claiming to know the tariff better than anyone else — that picture is published free elsewhere and you can check it. We are claiming that nothing connects it to the entry summary you already filed.

Importing into the UK or EU as well? Customs value there is CIF, so freight sits inside the base duty is charged on — which also means switching a shipment to air raises the duty on the same goods. That is worked through, with the statutory apportionment, on the UK air-versus-sea calculator. It is exactly $0 on a US entry.

We are not telling you those are your numbers. We are telling you where they live, that the arithmetic is simple enough to check, and that the audit replaces every estimate on this page with your actual figure.

Questions

Straight answers

How is this different from Sellerboard?

Sellerboard shows you the profit on the cost you typed in. Supercargo computes the cost, then checks it against the duty your broker actually declared. If your typed-in cost is right, the two agree and you have learned something worth knowing.

What if my numbers are already right?

Then the audit tells you so in writing, the fee is refunded in full, and you have found out for nothing. A clean result is a valid result. We will not manufacture a finding to justify a subscription.

Do you file anything with customs?

No. Never. Supercargo is management accounting software. It is not a customs intermediary and does not make declarations.

Is there a usage meter?

No. Unlimited customs entries, unlimited SKUs. An earlier version of this page metered entries at 12, 30 and 120 a year, and it was wrong for a reason worth stating: charging per entry contradicts the claim that every entry is reconciled. You cannot sell completeness and ration it in the next column.

Can I self-host it?

No. The only version of self-hosting Amazon’s rules permit would make you the permanent custodian of a client secret with no rotation tooling and no revocation screen. You get your own isolated database and your own encryption key instead, and an authorisation you can revoke yourself in two clicks.

What happens to my data if I leave?

A full database export lands weekly in a storage bucket you nominate, on every tier, for the life of the subscription. When you cancel you already have it — there is nothing to request and no clock to run.

What you get, stated plainly

Email support, first response within one business day, on every tier.

Email, UK business hours, first response within one business day, on every tier. Supercargo does not provide customs classification advice — in or out of hours. If a figure looks wrong we will show you exactly how it was computed and which document each input came from, so you can take it to your broker.

Before you pick a tier

Send one entry and we will tell you the size of your own gap first.

Who is the importer of record on your customs entries?

Goes straight to contact@getsupercargo.com. No newsletter, no sequence, no CRM — see the privacy notice.

Supercargo computes an estimate for management accounting from published tariff data and from documents you supply. It is not customs advice, it is not a classification opinion, and it must not be used as the basis of a customs declaration. You choose the commodity code; Supercargo never proposes one from a product description. Your licensed customs broker remains the decision-maker on classification, valuation and what is declared, and where anything here differs from your broker, your broker governs.
